my kids are really cute.
Betty is funny…I told her to make a cute face. oh man, my daughter!
Unrelated to Halloween…I went somewhere with friends this weekend and was gone the whole day. Thank you to my husband who gave me a day to myself. (I went somewhere in WA…that people travel from all over the world to see…any guesses?)
oh yeah. I went to Forks.
We had a little party in Betty’s preschool class on Thursday. It was extra fun because all the kids were in their Halloween costumes.
Betty is a kitty but you can’t see her ears or her tail…she’s adorable!!
Showing off her chocolate mustache!!
Part 3 takes place next week!!
Betty turns 4 today and we started the celebration yesterday by enjoying dinner at Meskel, a local Ethiopian restaurant.
Betty was so excited when the food came out…she started digging in right away!
So proud of Sim for trying something new and having a great attitude. And well, Jed was there:)!
I think you could say we enjoyed it!
Playing a round of gold fish while we wait!
We love our little princess!
(Part 2 & 3 coming soon!)

this is awesome. and even better he’s my pastor.
A wise friend sent me this comment based on my last post…
“All of life is Plan B... started in the garden. But He also redeems...that is the story.”
She is right. And I believe that he redeems it through me and you…
…in adoption it is redeemed
…in speaking for those who can’t speak for themselves it is redeemed
…in defending the fatherless and widows it is redeemed
Grateful that He uses us!
